Honda CRF250X and CRF450X Odometer Delete Cap.

Condition is “New”. (This does NOT include the hub, odometer or a cable. It is ONLY a cap. The hub/wheel is only shown for illustration on how the cap mounts.)

• This cap is a clean looking way to seal your odometer cable input hole after you remove the cable to keep dirt and water out.

• The cap is made from extruded plastic. Inner diameter of the cap will fit appx an 11.8mm to 12mm wide OEM CRF250X, or CRF450X odometer thread.
• It was designed specifically on a 2015 - but will fit all variants that use the same “slightly less than “12mm wide threads.
• You could use a micrometer if you are not sure - or if your model is a 2016+ year (the models changed in 2017).
• The inside of the cap is not threaded- but precision formed with just enough tolerance inside to be threaded onto the cable mount on your hub. As you twist it on straight with light pressure, by hand (no tools) so you don’t crush it- it will form threads internally.
• For an extra water tight fit, I recommend putting a light coat of silicone on your cable mount threads. Be careful not to use pliers or screw it on crooked. It is crafted of plastic- so you could crack it if done improperly.
• No warranty for installation damage or damage from use - as it’s on a dirtbike, in sometimes extreme conditions.
