Enhance Your Laser Cutting Experience with the X-Tool M1 Laser Smoke Scoop 3D Print

Digital Download Files Only**

For 3d printing this XTOOL M1 Laser Smoke Collector/Scoop for exhaust in your M1 Riser Panel. You will download the files & some additional parts & modifications are required. READ this ENTIRELY before your purchase.

There is NO physical product here - it is a digital download only.

Once you have printed the two halves & mounted them into your riser panel on the M1 - you will be able to connect a 4" hose which will be connected to an inline exhaust fan to create a downdraft exhaust under your M1's laser bed for better smoke & fumes extraction. We have designed this based on our previous smoke scoop designs available in our store that we've been selling for over a year & modified it to be used on the M1. There are other sellers who print this sort of accessory for you if you don't have a 3d printer.

However, our customers who own 3d printers wanted a FILE only digital version to make their own - so here it is! READ the ENTIRE Instructions below - Before you make your purchase. Once you have purchased - you will be able to download the files.

READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW before Purchase Please: You will need additional parts to use this. I don't supply any physical parts, a riser panel template or bolts. Just the files for the two exhaust parts. I DO, HOWEVER, SUPPLY EXACT DIMENSIONS BELOW.

These are 3d printer STL files. You either need a 3d printer (NOT a laser) - but an actual 3d plastic printing device (Creality, Prusa, Bambu, for example) - or know someone who can print them for you. YouTube can help if you don't now how.

FILES: 1. After checkout, you will be able to download the compressed file "M1LaserExhaust.zip".

2. Save it to a folder on your computer that you will be able to find and access easily.

3. Next, you will unzip the file. (Look it up on the internet if you don't now how).

4. After unzipping the downloadable file, save the unzipped files to your computer. There will be 3 files: "M1LaserScoopHose.stl", "M1LaserScoop.stl" & "ReadMe.txt". The "M1LaserScoopHose.stl" file is the one that you will use to slice & then print your exterior 4" hose connection. The "M1LaserScoop.stl" file is the one you will use to slice & then print your interior scoop that mounts inside the riser under your M1's bed.

**NOTE: You will need to have a part that you create (I don't have that part or file - but you can simply measure your M1 Riser rear door/panel & cut the panel either out of acrylic or wood. I recommend acrylic - since it's less likely to catch a spark and looks cleaner than wood. If you are using a laser, then you know how to measure and design things.

DIMENSIONS: Use these dimensions for cutting/designing the openings in your riser panel for our scoop (I work with millimeters because they are more precise and simpler to understand while designing - if you need inch conversions - there are several available on the internet):

  1. 4 bolts are spaced from center to center 110mm apart from each other.
  2. 2. The bolt hole diameters are 4mm. So you can use any bolts/nuts that will fit.
  3. 3. Flanges widths 130mm.
  4. 4. Scoop height 110mm (4.33")
  5. 5. Scoop width 185mm.
  6. 6. Exterior hose attachment assembly outer diameter 99.9mm, plus the nubs which extend to 105.6mm to help grip the hose (see photos)
  7. 7. The exhaust holes for the two halves (scoop & hose attachment) have an inner diameter of 94mm. That's the size hole you will cut for the opening in the panel you make for your riser on the back.
  8. 8. You want to place the 94mm hole in the center of the panel on your riser, then space the bolt holes evenly from each other 110mm apart - center to center.
  9. 9. (ALTERNATIVELY - you could print the parts - then mark your riser back panel with the printed parts - using them as templates).
  10. 10. Once you have the riser panel constructed, you simply attach the hose half to the outside of your riser panel & the interior scoop half to the interior of your riser panel using 4 bolts & nuts that fit through a 4mm hole (see photos of completed unit).
  11. 11. Attach the entire assembled unit to your M1.
  12. 12. Attach a 4" (101.6mm) dryer hose or other 4" flexible duct to the exterior hose attachement. It's outer diameter is 99.9mm (3.93") with 4 nubs that are a total of 105.6mm exterior so as to help the hose grip better and not slip off.
  13. 13. Attach a hose clamp to secure your hose. ONLY exhaust laser fumes to the outside using a high power inline fan with sealed, clamped hoses. NEVER exhaust indoors - ever! Follow all safety instructions that came with your laser's instruction manual.
